The competition is intended for artists of all nationalities born after Jan.01,1989
The quality of the recording must meet professional standards – recordings from mobile devices will not be accepted for the preliminary round.
The video should be newly recorded for Seoul International Bassoon Competition and cannot be edited. Camera angles should be fixed and include the competitor’s face and both hands must be visible at the same time (Submit a video showing your hands in position on the bassoon)
An unedited VIDEO recording in the avi, mov, mpg, wmv, mp4, mkv or, alternatively, DVD formats of high technical quality of the compositions listed in the “Competition Repertoire” section of these General Provisions.
Please upload video links to YouTube or any cloud server (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc) and include the link in your application.
A professional accompanist will be provided for the contestants; however, contestants may elect to use an accompanist of their own choosing at their own expense.
A copy of the applicant’s passport or proof of identity
Portrait photo suitable for reproduction (min. 1 MB and 300 dpi). Upload the photo and send it onloading together with the application. Please make sure the photo file contains your photo with your full name.
Proof of payment of the registration fee (for costs associated with registration and the preliminary round)

The SIBC will announce those who have been qualified for the 2nd round on March 15, 2020 (results will be posted to the SIBC website)
If payment is not received within 7 days of your application, the application will be voided.

The application fee for The Seoul international bassoon festive is US $130
Pay for participation in the Seoul International School and participation in the Seoul Bassoon Festival If you change your mind within 14 days and withdraw, we will return your 100% claim. If you leave your name on the e-mail (koreabassoon@gmail.com) or question board, we will take prompt action.
If your bank transfer or credit card depositor’s name is different please forward the card holder’s name to Koreanassoon@gmail.com
Participants in the second round in The Seoul international competition must pay the participation fee for the Seoul international bassoon festival in order to compete in the second round
